Two Hoots Glamping Site
Peaceful countryside accommodation in prime Hampshire

Local Area

Located on a quiet lane in the village of Bighton, guests can enjoy being within walking distance of both a pub and a restaurant. Being only a ten-minute drive from the South Downs National Park, there are also plenty of walking, jogging & cycling routes to explore, along with being just a short 5-minute stroll from the historic Watercress Line (a 19th-century heritage line with steam trains).

The Georgian market town of Alresford (10 minutes) is a must-visit. Full of colour-washed houses, riverside walks and the UK’s capital of watercress farming. Explore the picturesque streets, lined with delightful rural pubs, cafés and restaurants, along with boutique shops – including Tesco Express & Co-op for your food & toiletry essentials, a Post Office and pharmacy.

Four Marks village (10 minutes) also has a Co-op store for all your food & toiletry essentials, BP garage with M&S express store, pharmacy and lots of cafés.

For day trips, Winchester (20 minutes) is absolutely perfect as it is steeped in Roman history and has a lovely cathedral. In the winter, the cathedral is decked out with lights and features an ice skating rink, while in warmer times it's lovely to explore.

Jane Austen's former home (now a Museum) is also located ten minutes away in the nearby village of Chawton, where you can also visit Chawton House (which her brother used to own) for a combined cultural day out.

Be sure to also take the picturesque 20-minute stroll to the Watercress Line and hop on at Ropley Station. The heritage train line takes you on a vintage steam train journey through the Hampshire countryside, where you can visit charming towns and villages along the way.

"Amazing site which has recently been upgraded by the current owners. Stayed in one of their luxury Shepherd's Huts which has an enormous enclosed lean-to building to chill in and gaze across the wild meadow. So peaceful & quiet. I'll definitely be back."
